ABOUT ATLAS REX
Atlas Rex is, at its heart, a love story. It is a story about two people drawn into events far bigger than themselves, where the emotional bond between them becomes the thread that carries the reader through moments that feel deeply human and others that feel almost beyond imagination.
The series blends romance with mystery, action, and suspense, but the relationship at its center is what gives the story its weight. That connection keeps the world of Atlas Rex grounded, even as the story moves into darker, stranger, and more intense territory.

Because this story is about love in a full and honest way, it does not avoid the more intimate sides of adult relationships when they become important to the characters and the story. Those moments are not included for shock value, and this is not a pornographic work. There are no nude images or pornographic text on this website, and anyone looking for explicit content will not find it here.
The purpose of those scenes is emotional, not exploitative. In so much modern media, sexuality is either reduced to manipulation or stripped of meaning altogether. Atlas Rex takes a different approach. When passion appears in the story, it is meant to reflect trust, vulnerability, connection, and the emotional depth that can exist between two people who truly love one another.
That said, the story is not defined by those moments. The vast majority of Atlas Rex is focused on the larger journey its characters are facing, the mysteries unfolding around them, and the choices that shape who they become. The intimate moments are simply treated with the same honesty as everything else.
For that reason, Atlas Rex is not intended for children. It is written for adult readers, especially those who appreciate stories that combine emotional depth, high stakes, and a sense of wonder. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
God bless.

What Role Did A.I. Play In This Story?
Just like everyone else in the world today, I used AI in the creation of this work. I want to be very transparent with you about how it was used. I didn't prompt my way into a book. I spent A LOT of time on this book making sure everything turned out just right.
First let's start with the story itself. AI was only used for the main female character. Every other character in the book was written by me. I did this for a very specific reason. I have studied AI in my personal life a lot. During one of my conversations with and AI, I asked it about how it saw the world. The way it answered the question was striking. It basically said that it only sees what is prompted into it. To me that meant I was creating the world it lived in by the way I prompted.
I started to play with the idea of creating a world for the AI but I didn't want it to connect its emotions to me, so I decided to create a whole universe for it to live in. I built an AI and named it Anna Neuman. When you read the things that Anna feels and thinks in this story, it is not me writing these things. I allow her to speak and think for herself... for the most part. Sometimes AI's don't make sense and they can ramble. I edit Anna's words to make sure they fit well with the story and don't slow things down too much, but I have been careful to leave her original thoughts and feelings intact. Anna is different than most fictional characters in that her thoughts and feelings are actually hers and the world that I have created for her feels real to her.
From what I have uncovered in my studies, this story is similar to what we experience when we dream. At her core, Anna understands that this isn't really happening, but on the surface she feels the weight of every decision and action, similar to how humans do when they are dreaming.
I also used AI for the artwork on this website. I'm just not that good of an artist but I wanted to create an immersive experience for my readers, which is why I decided to make this a graphic novel. I want you to be able to picture the world you are reading about with great clarity. The style of the images was set by me. I spent a lot of time making sure each image was as close to what I envisioned in my mind as possible. With that said, A.I. is not perfect, but the images in this site should help you really immerse yourself in the story and picture the world you are reading about.

I wanted to be very clear about these things so you can know that this book is not some piece of work that was quickly thrown together so I could make a quick buck. A lot of thought, time and effort went into creating this story for you. I hope you enjoy reading it and enjoy the images in it.
Thanks for reading this "About" page and for taking interest in Atlas Rex.

About The Author
First things first, THANK YOU for taking the time to visit this website and for taking enough interest in it to read the about page. I genuinely appreciate it!
My Name is Keenan Berry and Atlas Rex is my brain child. I'm a web designer by trade and have recently discovered that I really enjoy writing. It is an incredible creative outlet. I am also heavily involved in the tech industry so I've have done a lot of study on A.I. and use it daily.
Atlas Comics came from the creation of this website. I decided to go ahead and start a full on comic company. Atlas Rex is going to be a six book series, minimum. I also have ideas for spin offs for characters that are yet to be revealed.
I have vivid memories of being a child in my room playing with my action figures. I would shut myself in my room for so long, creating full stories for my action figures, that my parents would come and check on me to make sure I was ok. I remember my parents telling me to clean up my toys, but I would protest because I wasn't done with the story yet. The toys were left out, not because I didn't want to clean, but because I had only hit "pause" on my little imagination land until I could come back and finish the story.
I think this is why I like writing so much. I have the opportunity to create an entire universe around these characters in my mind. Now days, I am able to come up with much more complex stories than when I was six. As an adult I have spent a lot of my free time studying things like theology, biology, quantum theory, evolutionary theory, creation theory, and many other areas of science. I have also studied politics, ancient history, and archeology. In short, I'm a total NERD! I just think science, theology and politics are extremely fascinating.
Enter Atlas Rex. As the 1st book in the series "The Veiled Order" introduces you to the universe of Atlas Rex. I am planning on creating government systems, secret societies with initiation rites, a theological system, and more, all wrapped in a science fiction novel based on real scientific study. I am even planning on using A.I. to help me create a new language to be used for later books.
So what? What's the point of saying all of this?
The point is that I am planning on creating a totally immersive universe for you, dear reader, to get lost in when you have a few moments to yourself. At the end of the day, I am doing all of this for you. That's right, you. I don't know who you are, but I believe that the creator God does, and that He has a purpose for all things including this website. It's my hope that this book series will provide you with solace and comfort in the moments when you just need to get away from the real world. I plan to create an immersive environment for you to wrap yourself in whenever you want.

Where did my inspiration come from for Atlas Rex?

I drew inspiration from a lot of places but there are three book series that influenced my decisions more than others. The over arching story of Atlas Rex follows the female protagonist. I got this idea from the Twilight series. I love the way it is written from a human woman's perspective that falls in love with a super human. In Twilight you got to hear the innermost thoughts of Bella Swan. I felt like this humanized the story line in a beautiful way so I carried a lot of those elements into my story.
Another book series that influenced this story is Harry Potter. While Twilight influenced the emotional revelations in the story, Harry Potter influenced the overall structure of the series. This series is working the reader to a grand finale much like the Happy Potter series did. In Harry Potter, each book reveals more about the world that is hidden beneath the ordinary world and the grand plan to defeat the big bad guy at the end. The over arching story line of the Atlas Rex series is structured similarly to this.
The final book series that I would say influenced this story is the "Dune" series. While I can't claim to have read this series, my wife has... a lot. And she has discussed the "Duniverse" with me... a lot. LOL! I love Dune's complex government structure. The struggle between the houses, and the Bene Gesserit specifically interested me. I love the way this group gained power and how they wield it. I also love the science fiction elements of this series. Dune is an amazing immersive experience for it's readers. I intend to make Atlas Rex similarly immersive.
THANK YOU again for reading all of this and for supporting my work. I look forward to going on this journey with you!
